Warranties and Repairs
The information in this section applies only to OEM configurations. For information about ODM/IVAR configurations, refer to the "ODM and IVAR" section of this FAQ.

 

Q. What warranty is offered on the AR1000 series?
A. The AR1000 series carries a one (1) year manufacturers warranty.

Q. What should I know before sending back my AR1000 series unit for repair?
A. Before sending back the AR1000 series unit for repair, it must be configured with the original hard disk drive and OS installed. All repairs are billed against parts and labor. All repairs are performed with and warranted for PFU Systems standard parts options for the AR1000 series. In case an installation option of certain specification is no longer available as at the time of purchase, a contemporary installation option with comparable specifications will be substituted. Hard disk drives and IDE CompactFlash storage card contents may be cleared as part of the repair process. The customer is fully responsible for removal of any sensitive data from the AR1000 series unit and re-installation of non-factory shipped software.
