A. Yes. The TabletCARD
CRT interface connects directly to
the CRT interface on the Plug-N-Run
G3 SOM and supports high-resolution
displays with DDC signaling for communication
of configuration and control information
between the Plug-N-Run G3 and a DDC
compliant CRT monitor to realize a
plug-and-play system. In addition,
the VESA DPMS (Display Power Management
Signaling) is supported to put a DDC
compliant monitor into power down modes.
Q. What type
of LCD interface is supported on the TabletCARD?
A. The TabletCARD
LVDS LCD interface connects directly
to the 18-bit LVDS LCD interface
on the Plug-N-Run G3 SOM and supports
a dual channel LVDS LCD interface
for single pipe, dual panel applications
using dual 20-pin LVDS LCD headers.
The LVDS LCD interface provides better
noise immunity over longer interface
cables than possible with the parallel
LCD interface.
Q. Does
PFU Systems provide LVDS LCD Panel kits?
A. PFU Systems' provides the
6.3" and 10.4" XGA TFT LVDS LCD panel
kit that can be hooked up directly to the TabletCARD.
