Q. Is
power management supported on the CRT interface?
A. Yes. The SwissBlade
CRT interface connects directly to
the CRT interface on the Plug-N-Run
G3 SOM and supports high-resolution
displays with DDC signaling for communication
of configuration and control information
between the Plug-N-Run G3 and a DDC
compliant CRT monitor to realize a
plug-and-play system. In addition,
the VESA DPMS (Display Power Management
Signaling) is supported to put a DDC
compliant monitor into power down modes.
Q. What type
of LCD interface is supported on the SwissBlade?
A. The SwissBlade
does not include an on-board LVDS LCD
interface connector. However LVDS LCD
panels may be connected directly to
the 18-bit dual channel LVDS LCD interface
on the Plug-N-Run G3 SOM using a custom
cable. The LVDS LCD interface provides
better noise immunity over longer interface
cables than possible with the parallel
LCD interface
Q. Does
PFU Systems provide LVDS LCD Panel kits?
A. PFU Systems' provides 6.3" and
10.4" XGA TFT LVDS LCD panel kit that
can be hooked up to the 30-pin LVDS LCD interface
connector on the Plug-N-Run G3 with a custom
cable. Contact your PFU Systems sales representative
for availability.
