iNetSec Inspection Center® offers a number of ways to enforce policies once they have been set .
Pre-admission – check compliance levels for corporate policy before allowing new computers to connect the corporate networks.
Post-admission – check compliance periodically while a computer is connecting to the network. If the endpoint doesn’t meet set policies, it will be automatically isolated and proceed to remediation steps.
iNetSec® supports complex situations where different divisions, projects or roles require different policies through its Group policy function
Since some computers may be assigned multiple policies, iNetSec even allows for a "priority" policy setting structure, giving IT administrators the ability to determine which rules should be enacted in the order of importance.
Deploying new security products and patches can be time consuming, resulting in a number of non-compliant endpoint computers trying to connect to the corporate network.
iNetSec allows for a "Grace Period" so IT administrators can set the length of period in which non-compliant computers can connect to the network. iNetSec delivers the non-compliant end users with a warning, offering steps needed to comply with policy in order to remain connected to the network. Once the Grace Period is exceeded, the non-compliant computer will be disconnected.
iNetSec’s exception network allows for isolated end users to remedy their non-compliant computers. IT administrators have the power to set an IP address which can be accessed by end points that have been isolated from the network to resolve their situation, installing the necessary patches security updates, etc.
